Export Emails – Applied Filters Visibility

Export emails now display the applied filters, including Business Date Range and Branch Name, to give users better visibility into the data included in each export.

This enhancement helps users easily understand which filters were used, especially when receiving multiple or scheduled exports across modules such as Orders and Inventory Transactions.

Orders Export – Branch Tag Filtering

We’ve improved Orders Export V2 to make exporting data easier for businesses with many branches. Users can now select branches using branch tags when filtering exports.

This allows faster selection of grouped branches when exporting Orders , Order Items , Order Payments , and Order Tags , reducing the need to manually choose from long branch lists.

Inventory – Quantity Adjustment Enhancement

We’ve enhanced the Quantity Adjustment workflow to make inventory adjustments easier for merchants who use products with ingredients and modifier options.

When adding items to a Quantity Adjustment transaction, users can now choose from three options: Add Inventory Items, Add from Products, or Add from Modifier Options. Selecting Products or Modifier Options will automatically load the associated inventory ingredients and quantities into the transaction.

This makes it easier to record waste or adjustments related to products and modifier options without manually searching for each inventory item.

Customer Address- Block Field Update (Kuwait)

To better support address formats in Kuwait, we’ve enhanced the “Block” field in the Customer Address section. Previously, this field only accepted numeric values. It now supports text (alphanumeric) values.

Example: Block 3B (e.g., in Jabriya)

✨ New: Sort Mode in Menu Group Preview

You can now organize your menu items directly from the Menu Group Preview using the new Sort Mode (وضع الفرز).

Sort items using the familiar card-based sorting experience and apply changes across Groups, Sub-Groups, and Products, all without leaving the preview.

🔁 How It Works

  • Open Group → Menu Preview
  • Click Sort Mode
  • Drag and reorder items
  • Save to apply or Cancel to discard

Inactive items appear in Sort Mode with a red Inactive tag, while Preview Mode shows only active items.

🌟 Why It Matters

  • Faster menu organization
  • Reduced duplication and setup errors
  • Better efficiency when creating or updating menus

Menu Engineering Chart

We’re excited to introduce the Menu Engineering Chart under Console>Reports>Analysis Reports>Menu Engineering, a powerful new analytical view that helps restaurant owners and operations managers make smarter, data-driven menu decisions.

This feature categorizes menu items based on popularity and profitability, giving you a clear picture of what to promote, improve, or reconsider.

📊 What’s Included

Each menu item is plotted on a menu engineering chart and automatically classified into one of four performance categories:

  • 🟢 Star — High popularity, high profitability
  • 🔵 Workhorse — High popularity, low profitability
  • 🟡 Challenge (Puzzle) — Low popularity, high profitability
  • 🔴 Dog — Low popularity, low profitability

Each data point represents a single product.

📈 Chart Metrics

  • Popularity: Calculated as a percentage (0–100%) based on sales volume
  • Profitability: Item Profit (Contribution Margin), displayed with a dynamic currency based on country

For each product, you can view:

  • Product name
  • Sales count (عدد المبيعات)
  • Item profit (ربح الصنف)

🧭 How to Use the Menu Engineering Dashboard

Use the chart to guide strategic menu decisions:

  • Stars:

Promote and maintain — these items drive both sales and profit.

  • Workhorses:

Popular but low-margin items. Consider cost optimization, portion adjustments, or price revisions.

  • Challenges (Puzzles):

High-margin items with low popularity. Improve visibility, positioning, marketing or promotion to increase sales.

  • Dogs:

Low sales and low profit. Evaluate whether to rework or remove these items from the menu.

You can also compare products within the same category, identify trends over time, and export the data for deeper analysis or sharing with your team.

💡 Why This Matters

The Menu Engineering Dashboard transforms complex sales and cost data into actionable insights, enabling you to continuously optimize your menu, improve profitability, and align offerings with customer demand.

ZATCA E-Invoice Export (KSA Only)

What’s new

Businesses in Saudi Arabia can now download the ZATCA-compliant e-invoice for an order directly from the Console. This helps with reconciliation when ZATCA returns a failure status for Order.

How it works

  • A new “Download E-Invoice” CTA is available on the Order Details page.
  • The e-invoice is exported in ZATCA-readable XML format.
  • All invoices synced to Zatca with Status Success or Failure are available to download.

Why this matters

This enables merchants to independently submit or revalidate invoices with ZATCA, reducing manual effort and reconciliation delays for orders.

Scheduled Exports (Temporary Adjustment)

To optimise system performance while maintaining export availability, some Console exports are now scheduled for delivery in a couple of hours, while others remain unchanged.

Scheduled Exports:

These exports will be scheduled and delivered via email once ready (as per the exports que within couple of hours/Next day):

Customers

  • Customers & Customer Addresses

Inventory Exports

  • (Items, items_ingredients)

Inventory Transactions

  • Inventory Counts
  • Inventory Order Transactions
  • Inventory Production
  • Inventory Purchasing
  • Inventory Quantity Adjustments
  • Inventory Transfers Orders
  • Inventory Transfers

Products

  • (Products, Ingredients, Modifiers)

Export Processing Status Messages

Users will now see clear status messages during export processing:

  • “Your export is scheduled for processing and will be sent to your email once ready.

If the users attempt to make the export with same filters again then will see:

  • “An export has already been scheduled using the same filters.”

(Non-Scheduled) Exports Unchanged:

These exports can be generated instantly and will be received via email as per current timeframe:

  • Orders Export
  • Categories
  • Cost Adjustments
  • Coupons
  • Groups & Group Associations
  • Modifiers & Modifier Options
  • Price Tags
  • Purchase Orders
  • Suppliers
  • Users
  • All Reports under (Console>Reports)

Note: Daily Export Limit (Per Business)

Each business is limited to 30 exports per day

If the limit is exceeded:

  • You have reached the maximum allowed export requests.

In line with optimising the platform performance , we have made the above temporary adjustment to allow users to request for exports anytime. While the processing happens in background during off peak hours.
