Force Sync Cashiers from Console

We are introducing a powerful new feature that allows managers/users to bulk send sync notifications to one, multiple, or all selected devices from the console. This enhancement will significantly streamline the process of ensuring devices are synchronized with the latest settings and parameters.

To prevent overwhelming cashiers with multiple notifications, we have implemented an hourly restriction. This means that a force sync notification can be sent to a device only once per hour.

As a manager, you can now bulk select multiple cashiers and initiate a force sync with a single button, eliminating the need to sync devices individually.

When a force sync is initiated from the Console, cashier users must sync their data to reflect the latest settings and any changes made on the Console.

Enjoy a more streamlined and controlled approach to sync devices in one, multiple or all branches with this latest update.

  • Price tag modifiers: updating the price for the modifier that is linked to a specific price tag
  • Price tag products: updating the price for the product that is linked to a specific price tag

Critical Enhancements on Inventory Reports Logic

Foodics reports are now more accurate than ever, records are tracked in the reporting based on their values at each moment of time instead of showing their current value only.

Example:

  • Product “Burger” was in category “Sandwiches” in March
  • On 1st April, the category for “Burger” is changed to “Burgers”
  • When viewing “Cost Adjustment History” report for March, filtering on “Sandwiches” category:
    • Old reporting logic: will not show any data for the “Burger” since we are only recording the current category which is “Burgers”
    • New reporting logic: will show the data for the “Burger” when it was sold under the “Sandwiches” category in March

Impacted reports are:

  • Cost adjustment history
  • Cost analysis
  • Inventory control
  • Inventory history
  • Purchase orders
  • Purchasing
  • Transfer orders
  • Transfers

KDS Dashboard

A new dashboard is now available for businesses with the KDS licenses, where you can analyze and track the operational flow of products in your branches’ kitchens.

Compare the ideal vs. actual preparation time for your branches, and see which branches and products have the biggest delay time in comparison to different days of the week in order to make operational decisions.

Dashboard will be accessed via a new authority under the user roles and logged in user will see the data only for the branches that s/he has access to (similar to all other dashboards in the console).
