Receipt option to show or hide check number

You can now choose to hide the check number from the receipt. The new setting is available in Receipt settings page in the Console management. it is enabled by default. You can disable it and the Check Number will not appear in the receipt. Check Number will always be recorded in the order details and order export reports regardless of this receipt setting.

French Language Support

Bonjour, French language is now available for users in both Console and Cashier. Users can choose French as your preferred language from the Console, from the user's page.

SubCashier License

The SubCashier license is a new license type that has been added to the Console, and can be purchased as an addon license. The license works on the same iPad App: Foodics Cashier. A SubCashier device can not be used as an independent Cashier and requires another device running as a regular Cashier to work properly.

Inventory

  • We fixed an issue for stock product items that were added as ingredient to another product or item or modifier option. The deleted product item would stay linked to them after deleting the stock product. Now the deleted ingredient will be removed from the product or item or modifier option that it was linked to.
  • We fixed an issue in purchasing transaction that caused items total cost from the import file to be used as unit cost.
  • We fixed an issue when trying to access a deleted transaction through the URL, it would keep the console loading infinitely.

Configuration and Devices

  • We fixed an issue that caused the maximum return period to default back to 60 minutes when the user set the maximum return period to 0 minutes.
  • We fixed an issue in Devices where if there's only one menu group and it's assigned to a device, you couldn't remove it from the device.

Fixes for Call Center

  • Fixed an issue that caused the order details section to load infinitely when you add a combo with the same size multiple times while changing one of the combo options.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the date picker to be hidden when adding a due time.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed the agent to add a combo - without an error - to the order without satisfying the required minimum modifier options when they add a combo to the order and upgrade it.

Enhancements to User Experience

  • Mobile View: We have added more flexibility to the console screens and dashboards to make it more friendly for smaller screens.
  • Users now will not have the option to delete what is already in the deleted tabs or restore what is already there in all (active or inactive tabs), which previously did nothing if you delete a deleted item.
  • The sign up form does not accept special characters in the Your Name field anymore.

Enhancements to Reports

  • Branch Reference will appear correctly if it includes zeros in the beginning. 
  • We added a Branch Reference column in Payment Reports that are grouped by branch.
  • Tills & business days reports: The time is hidden Business Date column, it only shows the date now.
  • Void & Returns Report: Time column now shows the time when the product was voided, instead of the time it was added to the order.
  • Business Days & Till Reports: The reports will show the open business days and tills without waiting for the Cashier to end the day or close the till. It is an enhancement to the syncing process and allows the users to know what's happening in their stores faster.

Enhancements to Inventory

  • Inventory Items (Filters): We added a filter for stock products in the filter screen.
  • In Order Transactions page: We added a hyperlink in order reference that leads to order details.
  • Stock Products: When accessing stock products from the inventory items page, the barcode field is now hidden from the edit screen, since it cannot be changed.
  • When you reorder an item that is linked to a supplier but has no supplier fixed cost and has an item fixed cost, the fixed cost will be used in the PO.
