Showing Table Number in Order History Screen

With this new release, Waiters will be able to check Table Name/Number in Order History screen. Making it easier to select and view order needed.

Simply navigate to order history screen and check Table Name next to each Order Number.

Join Order

With this exciting ne release, Waiters are now able to Join two active orders into 1 receipt/order.

This will allow waiters to merge two orders in two different tables as 1 order.

All you have to do is click on "Join" from Order Summary screen --> and then choose the order you want to join with your current order.

This feature is only available for Waiters with authority to Join an order. So make sure to enable authority for your users through Console.

Order Editing and Voiding Restrictions when the order is with Driver

We are excited to announce a new enhancement to our system, introducing the ability to limit order editing when a driver is assigned to an active order. This feature provides better control over order modifications, ensuring stability in our delivery operations. The call center will automatically apply editing restrictions when a driver is assigned to an order. 

Key Highlights:

  1. Editing Restrictions: Orders with an assigned driver will have limited editing capabilities to maintain order consistency and control.
  2. Enhanced Stability: By restricting edits on orders with assigned drivers, we aim to enhance the stability of our delivery operations, reducing the risk of discrepancies and miscommunications.

Introducing a new "Check Number" column for streamlined order management. Easily track check numbers for all orders.

How to Use:

  1. Log in to the console.
  2. Navigate to the order list.
  3. Customize columns and select "Check Number."

New section for kitchen display and kitchen receipt settings

All kitchen related settings have moved to a new tab under Manage > Settings > Kitchen, here you can control everything related to information shown on the kitchen display system and information printed on the kitchen receipt.

Existing settings moved here are:

  • Kitchen sorting method
  • Enable/ disable printing and showing default modifiers


New settings will be introduced soon, keep an eye for the next release notes!

Negative Stock Control

Enhancement Inventory 

We are excited to introduce an enhancement to the inventory transactions functionality in Foodics, providing Console Operators with greater control over the negative stock. This update ensures that users handling the inventory cannot complete inventory transactions with quantities that exceed the available quantity in the source branch, thus preventing negative stock situations.

This update aims to provide more control over the inventory, prevent negative stock situations, and improve overall inventory management.

  • Introducing a new setting to control negative stock levels: Console -> Manage -> More -> Settings -> Inventory transactions

Feature: Inventory Control in Production Transactions

An enhancement to the production functionality in Foodics to enhance the inventory control for Console Operators in the production process. This update ensures that users handling the production of items cannot produce quantities that exceed the available ingredients in the branch, preventing negative stock situations.

Key Highlights:

  • Introducing a new setting to control negative stock levels: Console -> Manage -> More -> Settings -> Inventory transactions
  • Preventing Overproduction:

    • When the operator attempts to produce items with sufficient ingredients:
      • The system will produce the requested items.
      • The available quantity of each ingredient used will be decremented.
  • Error Handling for Insufficient Ingredients:

    • If the operator tries to produce items with insufficient ingredients:
      • An error message will be displayed before the confirmation message.
      • The system will prevent you from producing any items that have insufficient ingredients and will highlight them in red.

Feature: Inventory Control in Transfer Sending Transactions

An enhancement to the transfer functionality in Foodics, providing Console Operators with greater control over the quantities of items sent to other branches. This update ensures that users handling the transfer of items cannot send quantities that exceed the available quantity in the source branch, thus preventing negative stock situations.

  • Introducing a new setting to control negative stock levels: Console -> Manage -> More -> Settings -> Inventory transactions
  • Transfer Sending with sufficient quantities:

    • When the operator attempts to send items with sufficient quantities:
      • The system will send the entered items quantities.
      • The available quantity of each item sent will be decremented.
  • Error Handling for Sending Insufficient items quantities:

    • If the operator tries to send items with insufficient quantities:
      • An error message will be displayed before the confirmation message.
      • The system will prevent you from completing the transfer sending with the items that have insufficient quantities and will highlight them in red.

Feature: Inventory Control in Quantity Adjustment Transactions

An enhancement to the quantity adjustment functionality in Foodics, providing Console Operators with greater control over the quantities of items wasted. This update ensures that users handling the adjustment of items cannot waste quantities that exceed the available quantity in the branch, thus preventing negative stock situations.

Key Highlights:

  • Introducing a new setting to control negative stock levels: Console -> Manage -> More -> Settings -> Inventory transactions
  • Quantity adjustment with sufficient quantities:

    • When the operator attempts to waste items with sufficient quantities:
      • The system will adjust the entered items quantities.
      • The available quantity of each item wasted will be decremented.
  • Error Handling for wasting Insufficient items quantities:

    • If the operator tries to waste items with insufficient quantities:
      • An error message will be displayed before the confirmation message.
      • The system will prevent you from complete the quantity adjustment transaction with the items that have insufficient quantities and will highlight them in red.

Feature: Inventory Control in Return to Supplier Transactions

An enhancement to the return to supplier functionality in Foodics, providing Console Operators with greater control over the quantities of items returned to supplier. This update ensures that users handling the return of items cannot return quantities that exceed the available quantity in the branch, thus preventing negative stock situations.

Key Highlights:

  • Introducing a new setting to control negative stock levels: Console -> Manage -> More -> Settings -> Inventory transactions
  • Return to Supplier Handling Sufficient quantities of items:

    • When the operator attempts to return items to the supplier with sufficient quantities:
      • The system will return the entered items quantities.
      • The available quantity of each item returned will be decremented.
  • Return to Supplier Handling Insufficient quantities of items:

    • If the operator tries to return items to the supplier with insufficient quantities:
      • An error message will be displayed before the confirmation message.
      • The system will prevent you from complete the return to suplier transaction with the items that have insufficient quantities and will highlight them in red.

Adding total count next to each filtration in Waiter Order History Screen

With the new update, Waiter are now able to view Total count of orders in each order type filtration.

Simply proceed to Order History screen --> total count of order will show next to each filtration button.

Notifying Waiters When Order is Bumped from Kitchen

Waiters are now able to have full view of their orders status without having to go back and forth to Kitchen. 

To access this feature customers must have a KDS device. 

Once an order is sent to kitchen and bumped, a notification alert will be sent to the waiter who created the order notifying them that order is ready to be picked up from the kitchen.

Adding Tip Management on Waiter

Allowing Waiters to receive Tips is essential to dine-in business. Now with every payment Waiters are able to receive Tips from their Customers.

To access this feature, users should first enable Tips from Console though Manage --> Settings --> Cashier App Settings --> Enable Tips


Once feature is enabled, when Waiters Proceed to Payment screen, an "Add Tip" drawer will show for Waiters to add Tip amount needed.

Enhance Out of Stock Items UI on Waiter

With the latest update, Out of Stock items now have a Red dot on them allowing Waiters to easily spot out of stock items in their Menu.
