Inventory: Warehouse Address in Purchase Orders

We’ve introduced a Warehouse Address field to improve supplier communication and streamline deliveries.

What’s new

  • Added an optional “Address” field in Warehouse setup (create & edit)
  • Warehouse address now يظهر in Purchase Order emails under the Ship To section
  • Includes a tooltip to guide users on how the field is used



Why it matters

  • Ensures suppliers receive accurate delivery details
  • Reduces back-and-forth communication

You can now switch between Storage Unit and Ingredient Quantity in Quantity Adjustment transactions for better clarity.

What’s new

  • Added a “Storage Unit” dropdown to toggle quantity view
  • Available across all Quantity Adjustment statuses
  • Applies to:
    • Deducted Quantity
    • Available Quantity

How it works

  • Ingredient Quantity is auto-calculated:
    Item Quantity × Storage Unit Conversion Factor

Negative Stock Control

Enhancement Inventory 

We are excited to introduce an enhancement to the inventory transactions functionality in Foodics, providing Console Operators with greater control over the negative stock. This update ensures that users handling the inventory cannot complete inventory transactions with quantities that exceed the available quantity in the source branch, thus preventing negative stock situations.

This update aims to provide more control over the inventory, prevent negative stock situations, and improve overall inventory management.

  • Introducing a new setting to control negative stock levels: Console -> Manage -> More -> Settings -> Inventory transactions

Feature: Inventory Control in Production Transactions

An enhancement to the production functionality in Foodics to enhance the inventory control for Console Operators in the production process. This update ensures that users handling the production of items cannot produce quantities that exceed the available ingredients in the branch, preventing negative stock situations.

Key Highlights:

  • Introducing a new setting to control negative stock levels: Console -> Manage -> More -> Settings -> Inventory transactions
  • Preventing Overproduction:

    • When the operator attempts to produce items with sufficient ingredients:
      • The system will produce the requested items.
      • The available quantity of each ingredient used will be decremented.
  • Error Handling for Insufficient Ingredients:

    • If the operator tries to produce items with insufficient ingredients:
      • An error message will be displayed before the confirmation message.
      • The system will prevent you from producing any items that have insufficient ingredients and will highlight them in red.
