Activity Log Report: Data Exports

The Activity log report now tracks all data export activities across entities, providing better transparency.

Logged Details:

  • Action Name: Data Exported
  • Submitted By: User Name
  • Details: Name of the exported entity (e.g., "Products" has been exported)
  • Time: Timestamp in the business time zone
  • Source: Console

This feature helps you monitor and track all export activities in your system.

New Columns in Product Export

We’ve added two new columns to the Product Export for better nutritional insights:

  • High Salt Content: Displays as Yes/No.
  • Walking Time (Minutes): Indicates the time needed to burn calories.

This update helps users access more detailed product data effortlessly.

Note: this will be a KSA government requirement starting Jan next year for marketplace apps and will not impact current RMS apps

We've added an exporter for Gift Card Products linked to Menu Groups under Menu > Menu Groups.

Key Highlights:

  • Filter by Group ID, Name, Updated After, and more
  • Excludes deleted items
  • Exports Group Details and Gift Card Product data

Use this feature to analyze Gift Card Products in Menu Groups.

Bulk Import for Combos in Menu Groups

We’ve introduced a new feature that allows console users to efficiently import Combos into Menu Groups in bulk, streamlining menu management. 

Key Features:

  • Bulk Import Functionality:

    • Add Combos to Menu Groups using the importer tool for faster setup.
    • Accessible under Menu > Menu Groups with support for importing Combo details in bulk.
  • Columns include:

    • Group ID: Unique ID of the group created in the business, can be found by exporting groups.
    • Group Name: Name for the group.
    • Is Active: Indicates the status of the Combo.
    • Combo SKU: Required, The SKU of the Combo.
  • Restrictions:

    • Combos cannot be removed via updates but can be marked as inactive.

This update simplifies menu updates, saving time and ensuring accurate Combo integration within Menu Groups. Start importing Combos today to optimize your menu setup!

Add Allergens to Products

Users can link allergens to products in two places in console:

  1. Console>Menu>Products Page>Allergens Section:

    Users can add or remove allergens from a product's allergens list by clicking the "+" button and selecting from available allergens.



  2. Console>Manage>More>Allergens Page: Users can link multiple products to an allergen by selecting products from the list.

Allergens Settings

We are excited to introduce a new Allergens section in the Console, designed to enhance product transparency and empower customers to make informed choices.. Authorized users can view, manage, and link allergens to products. Please note that this section is visible only to users with the authority to manage allergens. The Current Release for Allergens will be for Marketplace apps and won’t be visible on Cashier/CDS for now and will be taken in later enhancements.  

Key Features

  1. New "Allergens" Entity:
    • Find under Console > Manage > More > Allergens
  2. Default Allergens Repository:
    • Pre-loaded common allergens (Egg, Fish, Dairy, Nuts) available for use and linking to products.
  3. Add & Edit:
    • Create new allergens with names and images
    • Edit existing allergen details
  4. Search & Filter:
    • Filter by name or status
  5. Management Tools:
    • Edit, delete, or restore allergens
  6. A new Allergens section in Products Page to view allergens linked to this product.

Walk Time (Minutes) to Burn Calories for Products

Overview: Console users can now add the estimated walking time needed to burn the calories in a product.

Details:

  1. New field:
    • Where to Find: Console > Menu > Product
    • Details
      • Label (EN): Walk Time (Minutes)
      • Label (AR): وقت المشي (دقائق)
      • Type: number
  2. Editing Products:
    • Edit Product Page: Users can enter the walk time in minutes, with guidance provided by a tooltip:
      • EN: Walk time to burn calories in minutes = (calories in item in kCal/ (effort factor (3.3) * average weight (70 kg))) * 60
      • وقت المشي لحرق السعرات بالدقائق = ((السعرات الحرارية بالكيلو كالوري)/ ((معامل الجهد 3.3 * متوسط الوزن 70 كيلو))) * 60
    • Default: The field is initially empty.

High Salt Content Option for Products

Overview: Console users can now mark products as "High Salt Content" to help categorize them based on salt levels.

Key Details:

  1. New Attribute:
    • Where to Find It: Console > Menu > Product
    • Details:
      • Label (EN): High Salt Content
      • Label (AR): يحتوي على نسبة عالية من الملح
      • Type: Checkbox (yes/no)
  2. Editing Products:
    • Product Edit Page: When editing a product, users will see a checkbox to mark if it has high salt content.
    • Tooltip:
      • EN: "Items with more than 0.5 grams of salt (equivalent to 2000 mg of Sodium) are considered high salt."
      • AR: "الأصناف الغذائية التي يتجاوز فيها كمية الملح 5.0 جرام (ما يعادل 2000 مليجرام صوديوم) تعتبر ذات مستوى ملح مرتفع."
    • Default Setting: The checkbox is unchecked by default, meaning it’s not high salt unless selected.
